BACKGROUND:
After crash-landing on this shape-shifting world, Selene must search through the barren landscape of an ancient civilization for her escape. Isolated and alone, she finds herself fighting tooth and nail for survival. Again and again, she’s defeated – forced to restart her journey every time she dies. Through fast, relentless gameplay, you’ll discover that just as the planet changes with every cycle, so do the items at your disposal. The complete PC experience


Includes support for achievements, complete with an in-game progress tracker. Five graphical pre-sets have also been included, alongside in-game performance metrics, including an FPS counter, a gauge for GPU and CPU usage and a latency tracker.

16:10, Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) aspect ratios offer an expanded field of view throughout Atropos – with wider aspects adding additional options for cinematics and the user interface. All this in stunning 4K.(1) On high-specification PCs, experience deeper immersion with ray-traced reflections and shadows, adding a whole new layer of lighting options – all customizable through various sliders. Performance enhancing technologies such as NVIDIA’s DLSS and NVIDIA NIS, as well as AMD’s FSR(2), are also available.

Feel sensory overload, first hand


Play with the DualSense controller to experience haptic feedback and dynamic trigger effects.(3) Alternatively, choose mouse and keyboard or other controller inputs – all with fully customizable button prompts. Expanded accessibility options have also been added, including an alt-fire crosshair charging notification, alongside a Co-op ping system. Added support for Dolby Atmos, as well as the option to select type of 3D Audio support.(4) Hear sound all around you with pinpoint accuracy, bringing environments to life and helping improve your reactions.

Co-op Mode:


In Co-op Mode, share your journey through the shifting labyrinth of Atropos with another PC player.(5) The hostile nature of Atropos will remain unwavering, but the possibility of teamwork adds a whole new dimension and means of survival. Each player controls a different version of Selene, from different cycles. Using the Chronosis device located in each biome, the host player summons a friend or is matched with another random online player. The progress of the host determines the available item pool for the duration of the multiplayer session.

Tower of Sisyphus:


Next time you wake at the crash site, look up. You should be able to see a gate towards the Tower of Sisyphus, accessible as long as you’ve unlocked the Icarian Grapnel.(5) In this Tower, prepare for a new kind of challenge. It’s a nearly endless ascending gauntlet with a pure focus on combat, how high you build up your score and progress, exclusive items, Scout logs and as-yet unseen fragments from Selene’s story.

5 The Tower of Sisyphus, House sequences and Challenge Mode are not available in Co-op Mode. Cross-play with players on PlayStation5 consoles is not supported.

The game is great, but on my PC (Ryzen 9 3900X + 32GB DDR4 + RTX 2080 Super), I have the same issue as many other players: a serious VRAM memory leak.

After a certain amount of time (around 30 to 40 minutes), the VRAM eventually gets fully saturated, causing a massive FPS drop (from 80 down to 10). At that point, the only solution is to quit the game and restart it.

This happens so often that it makes the game completely unplayable.

I tried changing every possible graphics setting with no success:
1440p, DLSS on/off, Epic/Medium/Low settings, ray tracing on/off, reflections, etc. Nothing helps—the VRAM always ends up maxing out.

Honestly, save your money and don’t buy it. The game came out on PC about 3 years ago, so it’s pretty clear that it’s no longer a priority for the developers or for PlayStation.

Late to this one. I saw a lot of folks hopping into Soros, and realizing that was a PS5 exclusive while there WAS a PC port of its spiritual precursor, decided to give this a whirl. Its super addictive. The game play is very fast, but extremely fluid. It feels amazing to sprint and dart through levels. The sound (especially of weapons) is great. The guns are all super fun, with a bunch of variation in the skills/attack types you can roll on them. I was a bit nervous about how long I could stick with a rogue-like game with as much repetition and lack of meta-progress as this game has. But runs are either quick, if failed OR feel really good if luck is with you, and you're steam-rolling the content. They did a really good job with the difficulty. Its not as challenging as those "souls-likes" I usually prefer (so should still be fairly welcoming to folks that avoid super difficult games). But there is just enough challenge to ensure the game doesn't feel like its being played for me.

Its a fun game and I found myself unable to keep playing even after dying over and over and you will but slowly get further is rewarding. There is also a story weaved in to figure out.

Had to verify my purchase which kinda sucked but luckily it was quick so thats great...

Anyway, the game is awesome; super addictive (if you like rogue-likes) and even though ive seen a lot of steam reviews ranting about performance my game never crashed and i only get a few frame drops here and there (worst was 45 fps for three seconds maybe)

Great Port, great game!

After 50 hours i can say its a really great game, performance is good also.

Would recommend to play the game, its worth full price.

The only bad thing is in coop, only the Host will get the progress.

Runs great with aging RTX 2080 and Threadripper 2950x on Windows 10.

The game is hard and is NOT a shooter where you should expect to progress from start to end in one or two sittings. There is no save system apart from being able to pick up where you leave off. So no save scumming. You must replay in the way the game intends.

You can mod it on Windows and make it much easier - but then what's the point? This game is only rewarding because it's hard and it feels good to master it.

it's under windows 10&11 a crash fest - it constantly crashes to 100% ... don't buy it until it'll be fixed

and than wait for a bigger sale. don'T touch it so lang please save your money.

The threaps over crashes are endless at the moment and no help ....
