Where is the discount? It's 50 bucks on steam and 49 here. Too expensive for a remaster. And the game is good, but 2007 good, not worth 50 bucks, 20 tops.

Love it.
I got over 850h in the main game and it's just pure nostalgia as soon as I hear that soundtrack and enter that world. Basically it's a beautiful remaster and I think in the next weeks/months we'll get a lot of bugfixes and revisions to this version. You won't regret buying it!

It was the best game i played in my youth and now i get to enjoy it all over again. I loved it when i first played it and i love it now. 1000000x better than skyrim.

Only 10 hours in. Visually better than I'd imagined, although it shows its age with enemy animation. I really loved Skyrim; when exploring the hundreds of dungeons, caves, and other locations, there was usually a point to it, such as finding a specific item or meeting someone to aid the quest.

The dungeons in Oblivion, so far, haven't really had a point, just a few random enemies and a few chests to open, then you leave. It appears that Oblivion's strength lies more with the main story rather than general exploring, whereas I'd argue the opposite is true with Skyrim. Still, though the experience is brilliant, if you like Bethesda games and in particular Elder Scrolls games, then you can't really go wrong with this.

For me one of my favorite childhood games that ive played and something that has gotten me into gaming for someone who loves rpgs for me, this was a must buy game to honor my childhood, and relive the beautiful game of oblivion again with beautfiul graphics and the same rich story and for anyone who hasnt played elder scrolls this is a must buy

The performance is absolute garbage which can also be found in Steam's discussions of this game.With strong hardware, the FPS can drop from 200 to below 30. It crashed about 20 times until I finished the main story. Faces are mostly as ugly as in the past.

An absolute banger of a remaster. It could be considered a remake. They basically remade it from the ground but they still left the same feeling as the original. Definitely worth getting if you're an Oblivion fan or if you're a Skyrim fan who's interested in the story before.
