I found the setting and overall story of Mafia The Old Country highly engaging.
The game shows remarkable potential, combining a richly detailed world with a captivating and well developed narrative.
I particularly appreciate how well it captures the era in which it is set in 1905 with its environments, characters, and cultural details reflecting the time period authentically. The love story between Isabella and Enzo is another highlight, with their hidden relationship adding depth and intrigue to the plot. Its distinctive style and depth in both storytelling and gameplay create a strong sense of immersion. That said, offering players greater freedom within the game world could have elevated the experience even further.
At its best, the story comes close to being one of the finest I have experienced in a game. Unfortunately, the ending detracts from that achievement. Without revealing key plot points, the conclusion feels disconnected from the grounded tone established earlier and ultimately left me unsatisfied.
Despite this, Mafia The Old Country remains a beautifully crafted and memorable experience with strong characters and a rich atmosphere that make it well worth playing even if the finale falls short of its full potential.

The Ending is not good and ruins the plot of the story
disappointing. I was expecting the Mafia series to have each release better than the last... but apart from the graphics, the game brings nothing, a weak and short story, horrible weapon mechanics.
Takes me back this games, to a times when single player games were simple and good and that was enough. Beautiful game with a great story and compelling characters. The closer I got to the end the more anxious I got about the fate of Enzo and Isabella. Got it done in 14 hours. Maybe short for todays standards, but I think it was just perfect.
Mafia the old ways is a nice story driven adventure about the patagonist Enzo. You can play the story in about 12 to 14 hours. And you can go back to the various chapters to unlock certain unlockables. The story itself is very nicely done. However, the game looks like it is free roaming, but this is very limited. I think it was only 2 chapters where you were able to roam. While other chapters, you had to stay near specific persons or locations.
I am very disappointed with this game. It constantly crashes during gameplay, sometimes closing with an error, and other times it even causes a blue screen on my PC. I have tried restarting, updating drivers, and verifying the game files, but nothing helps. The game is completely unplayable in its current state.
I kindly request a full refund because the product is not functioning as advertised.
Good storyline with a good twist. The map in free roam is underwhelming to say the least. There's just nothing to do besides driving, which is a lot of fun but gets old quickly. 24 in game hours and it was finished.
I really enjoyed the game. Graphics, Music and Story are very well done. As one who lived some months on Sicily I very much appreciated the great effort the devs took into generating this world.
Needed roughly 15 hours to finish the game which is OK and just right for the story, although I would'e appreciated sidequests that would've made one explore the rather open world a bit more. Since there are no sidequests the beautiful scenery is there just for the looks; no old farm house can be explored to find some secrets or such. I'd appreciate some DLC to give gamers exactly that.
The game is alright, but is poorly optimized. My computer does very well with other modern games at High-Ultra graphics settings, even those running on UE5, but struggles to make frames with this one even on Low-Medium Settings with some moments dropping to 10fps.
Great Story narrative Game for ~12 hours. Fantastic looking Graphics. A few cons in Game mechanics (only Stealth, Shooting, Driving & repeat) but overall great Mafia game.
