Best reviews

Hardly unplayable, tons of bugs, crashes, missing options different from past editions. No significant day one patch, fake promise that another time we gamers take without hesitation. Reviews on steam says all.

Worst FM in the history of CM/FM.

They catered to the (nonexistent) console and mobile fanbase and butchered the UI in the most atrocious way I’ve ever seen a franchise butcher a UI.

This new UI might be good for newcomers who have never played FM in their lives, but for longtime fans who have been playing every year for more than 25 years, they basically gave us the middle finger.

I’ll give you a simple example of how horrendous the situation is, taken from the SI/Reddit forums:

I just tried to find the goal scorers of a league.

In FM24: The top 3 are already visible in the league overview, and viewing all scorers is only one mouse click away.

In FM26:

Open the league overview →

Click on the “Stats” box (a pop-up window opens) →

Click the “Player Stats” box (another pop-up window opens) →

Search for the scoresheet in vain →

Take your time to find out that there is a small drop-down labeled “General” →

Click on “General” and see that there is an option for “Attacking.” Click on it →

Still no scoresheet. But you will finally see a radio button for “Goals.” →

Click the radio button and realize that the scorers aren’t even sorted by goals →

Click “Gls” to sort the list accordingly and enjoy.

1 click in FM24 vs. 6 clicks in FM26, opening a pop-up inside another pop-up just to find out that the scoresheet is hidden behind a radio button buried under a small dropdown box.

But yeah, we all “just need to get used to it,” right?

I know this is the first iteration of a new Football Manager, but unless the community can save it through mods, it’s a big F-no.

And I’m not even dwelling on the missing features from previous versions or the existing bugs. I simply can’t get past the UI — everything is a complete mess.

Save your wallet and wait for more patches/bug fixes, or for the community to step in. Do yourself a favor and just update the database for FM24 and keep playing that.

I’ve been playing every FM/CM religiously since 99/00 — hundreds of hours every year — and I’m uninstalling this.

Yes, it is, sadly, that bad.

This link is a scam, and Instant Gaming offers no refund, so basically instant gaming has scammed me and it will scam you too. No wonder banks block transactions towards the service

the UI is bad and slow.

in match inside tactics and subs, we cant even see sub players stats, we click in sub names nothing happen, cant even see player roles.

this game so bad, unfinished mess, like i never saw.

i have almost 4000hour in fm24, 2000h in fm23 and fm22.

i dont understand how and why they did this.

DO NOT BUY!

The bad:

- Constant crashing

- UI is buggy and font is too small for laptop gaming

- Sudden lags even though you just started a save

- In-game editor has been severly handicapped compared to previous FM games
