When the nature needs healing and rebalance itself from evil darkness then the sun will rise again in the distance. White goddess Amaterasu a purity of love and kindness the mother of nature of all things visit us all.
Acting as an incarnation of a god she joins the forces with a traveling artist Issun and together they start a journey full of danger and unexpected turns. And what a journey indeed it is. The moment you make a first step your realise how much unique it is. Japanese traditional landscape filled with celestial brush that makes everything happen with a single brush. I trully believe this is not a game but a purest art form. To feel a taste of universe you make it alive. You see river you can make it run with water, you see trees without leafs you will make them flourish. Ammy just by running can make the trail of beautiful life. In front of your eyes will open many views and true legends.
Very interesting and artistic combat design makes the game special. But what can a god really do? Well white furball calls for help celestial brush with other gods than can help her fight easier. All pure and made from nature for the most of the part. You will have many options to deal with strange and bizzare creatures. Exploding bombs, lightning strikes and many more. The boss battles takes a cake in this one. They are very well done and brilliant.
For me this was one of those experiences that I will never forget. As an painter once I was this felt like I was back in my childhood. The interaction between Ammy and Issun in many many ways were jut purest joy to see. Shed a smiling tear. It was sad to see the game was ending cause I never wanted to end it. The last moment with Amaterasu or Ammy or Snowy or white furball, whichever you prefer, gave me hope that this is not the end. We still have some unfinished business. Whatever they decide to do next I will wait with my arms open. Maybe this time Ammy can fix my broken heart.
