The pets don’t become playable characters, they’re NPCs so pretty boring and pointless

It is very, but very disappointing. If you thought you are getting a full on pet experience, where you can take your dogs to competitions, take care of your pets, do various activities etc. You are so wrong. In the DLC all good you get is CaS for your pets. The gameplay is boring and buggy, there's not much you can do with your pets, they're basically just NPCs walking around your house making sounds.

The vet clinic and vet career was a good idea, but poorly implemented. Pets get sick too often and sometimes they don't even get cured after visiting vet, although the game says they're healthy. The vet career gets repetitive and there is nothing new going on.

Cats and dogs is one of my favorite Sims 4 DLCs and I can't stop the gameplay! I can't remember the last time I DIDN'T build in Brindleton Bay. I also love Mayor Whiskers :)

I got the verification very quickly and the pack worked as soon as I updated The Sims 4 base game.

I got the pack about a year ago and it still works like it's supposed to.

The pack itself includes everything it shows it does, but if you were a The Sims 3 player like me, I will inform you that you can't control the pets and you only get, as it says, cats & dogs.

One of the few DLC that really complete the game experience (like Seasons), I always add a pet in all of my saves and it never gets boring. The animation of the animals are good and I also like the game play.

Love the new world. it comes with a new venue type. You can be a Vet and run your own Vet Clinic. Don't create many pets or play with them myself but I love most assets for my Dark Academia save. It's a good pack.

This is probably my favorite Sims 4 pack. I wasn’t sure about which one to buy but now I can tell I made the right choice. Both dogs and cats are very cute and they fit in perfectly in the Sims daily life, it doesn’t seem something you’ve had to buy separately from the game. Brindleton Bay is an awesome world, one of my faves too. Instant Gaming had a very quick and good delivery.

To the person saying there isn't anywhere to put the code in TS4 - you put the code into your origin game library by looking at the tabs at the top (like you'd have save/file in word documents) going into origin, redeem product code, then entering the code you got from here. Takes about a minute to download an expansion pack (from my experience, haven't tried any other packs yet).

man i hate capitalism but annoyingly the need for cute animals outweighs my need to boycott EA for releasing an unfinished game and making you pay extra to give it substance

bought the expansion pack ive been wanting for a while. Can't wait for it to download and play! I love the sims 4 and hopefully this expansion pack cats and dogs will make the game more interesting i cant wait to see what it adds to in game :)

Not only is the price perfect for me, but it actually worked. I was kind of skeptical at first because a $40 game costing $18 did raise some flags, but once I got the code and it was accepted I knew I didn't make a mistake. I would totally recommend you buy your game from here if you want to save some money.

I absolutely adore this expansion pack. It might just be because I also have a lot of pets in real life but there always seemed to be something missing from the sims until It got them again. The customisation for them is incredible too.

Brindleton Bay is a beautiful, urban harbor world. To me personally, I was at first very angry that the color wheel was only for pets. Like a bad tease - here you have it for pets but not for build/buy or CAS! I'm still mad at this because it shows it's possible. Well, pets are fun and very realistic. It provides a huge amount of breeds for cats & dogs and even if your race isn't available you can use the breed mixer and get very close to the race you have. Sadly pets take a slot in your household, so you need to consider this when you want a big family =). You can also create foxes and raccoon (yeah not me, lol) Many creative Simmers painted other animals (Leopard, Pig, Puma and many more.) by using either a dog or cat and shared those on the gallery. Some got mad creative painting skills =) Here you can create your pets how you want it. Simstagram is a new interaction where you can make cute pics and post them (Photography is now Basegame feature and needed :)) Pets can destroy furniture and they can sit on counters, chairs, sofa etc. You can also adopt pets and strays. For strays you need need to befriend them first and then you can adopt them for free :) as well. They come with a bunch of features for training them and the traits make them for sure unique =D Overall one of those packs where it's for sure worth to spend the money. I love the world and all the items I'm not a big pet player =) but here and there even I get seduced by a cute cat or a cool dog LOL. You can run your own Vet Clinic like in the Gamepack DineOut a matching venue is also provided (Wow - it's been a while) Yes absolutely worth the money even if I dislike the incomplete build/buy sets for the most part but overall dope! You can say it's overall more a casual /cozy style. Comes with a bunch of new hairs 15 for females 11 for males and 2 for kids but sadly none for toddlers. With more EPs, you get more and better beds too just saying =D. If you are a Cat or Doglover this pack is for sure something for you...and even if not you for sure will love all the items from CAS or Build/Buy!

well to be fair i have not played this game before and was wondering why people liked it so much. i decided to buy the game and guess what!! it took me about 3 days to figure out how to buy the game and i wish that it was much easier because my daughter loved seeing you tubers play this and now she can't even play because this this website is making everything a lot more stressful then it already is! asking to much info like dang.

Overall I really enjoyed this expansion pack. I love having my own vet clinic and helping sick animals. It is fun to level up my clinic and achieve a better rating. I hate not being able to control my animals. It's annoying to have them take up space in my household if I cannot even control them.

Je suis un fan inconditionnel des Sim's donc forcément j'apprécie le retour des animaux ^^
Mais les animaux sont bien représentés.
Juste dommage qu'on ne puisse pas les sélectionner.
Mais on peut créer nos races ou prendre des existantes.
