Description

The Sims 4: Island Living for PC is the seventh expansion pack for the Sims 4, which is the fourth major release in the life simulation game series that has been taking the world by storm since its inception in the late 1990s and release in 2000. The game has gone from strength to strength and this expansion pack takes the Sims to a tropical island to get to grips with sun, sea and getting on with living their best lives.

About the Game


The main game, Sims 4, is much like the previous editions in the series, except this one is set in an alternative location to the other games, allowing for different infrastructures and neighbourhoods to be built, should the player so desire it.

There are a host of new careers in this game, as well as the addition of features that were not able to be included in previous incarnations. These include ghosts, swimming pools, basements and even toddlers – almost like one’s old school friends popping up several years later, a handful of children in tow and being all grown up, the Sims in this game have evolved somewhat!

The Land is Beautiful


While often the location of Sims homesteads is rather bland and featureless, waiting to be filled up rather than offering any natural beauty by themselves, this expansion pack is different.

You can watch a volcano erupting – from a safe distance, of course, and you can even try to enrage the island’s elemental spirits to cause such as eruption! Lava is always beautiful to behold, and this is the case in this game too. Just don’t let your Sims get too close to the molten stuff, it is unlikely to do them much good, healthwise!

Otherwise, each lot in the game features a backdrop of rolling hills and a gentle gradient down towards the beach where the Sims can lie in the sun and get a tan. As mentioned above, they can suffer from sun burn too, so make sure they don’t stay out too long – or at least get them some sun block!

What’s New?


This expansion pack takes the Sims to a tropical island called Sulani, where they can enjoy large colourful cocktails, plenty of beach sunshine and warm breezes as they go about their business

You have a choice of careers here. You can chill out on the beach doing nothing but catching some rays and snoozing in your lounge chair – watch out for that sun burn though, especially if you are particularly fair – or you can become a conservationist and clean up the island. The latter has visible results, which makes it a rather satisfying path to follow

If you do not want to work, that is absolutely A-Okay on Sulani, You can, instead, just do odd jobs from time to time in exchange for a few dollars or a meal, or you can go fishing and catch your own dinner as and when you want to

Your Sim should be mindful of the culture of the island on which he or she is now living, and can demonstrate this by attending classes about the history and culture of the island, and by trying their hand at traditional practises like pit barbecues, dances and more. You can also learn more about your new homeland by chatting with the elders who will soon put you right

You can embrace the sunshine life by dressing your Sim appropriately in Bermuda shorts, Hawaiian print shirts, and by learning how to swim, surf, and scuba dive. You can also snorkel about, catching a glimpse of what life is like under the waves. If you are quick and quiet, you might even catch a glimpse of a mermaid or merman whisking about beneath the sea’s sun spotted surface

안녕하세요! 저는 한국 유저예요. ea 세일 기간인데 그래도 1,300원 절약해서 구매했어요. 이 사이트가 있어서 든든해요. 나중에 dlc 구매하러 또 올게요. 기본 게임만 있던 심즈 유저였는데 유튜버들이 아일랜드 팩을 1순위로 추천하길래 도전해봤어요. 게임내에서 휴양지 여행 가는 기분 좀 내려고요! 이 팩을 제대로 즐겼다 싶으면 다른 팩을 또 도전해볼게요.

I mostly buy packs for their gameplay and world value, since I'm on a computer and can buy mods. Honestly I would recommend buying Island Living! Sulani is very pretty and the activities are real fun too. Best vacation world, allows for a little bit more variation in gameplay

I adore this pack! It comes with full gameplay features. I love these new jobs! Suntanning, and the consequences of it haha. We can live on the island or go there for the holidays. Do you know what I was doing before Island Living? I was remaking Granite Falls with mods lmao. So now you know how much I love Sulani, I just needed it 4 life.

A great extension in globally, unfortunately, iy misses a lot of gameplay linked with the island way of living! Also, I expected a bigger focus on aquatic animals and mermaids. But, i admit that this pack can be good for some points: jobs, events, vacatins, sunburning...

Yes, absolutely get this pack! Island Living comes with so many things. The #1 best feature is the world, Sulani, of course. This world has beaches, festivals, amazing views, beach houses, and more. I can't help moving there in nearly every save I play or at least vacationing in Sulani. It is such a beautiful world especially with shader mods! Other than the world, it comes with many fun small things like lounging & sunbathing, playing in the water of course, floaties, mermaids, volcanoes, waterfalls, and a whole conservation system which I find fun! The 2 new careers are Conservationist and Lifeguard, and when off-duty or working from home, you can still do tasks for these careers at or around the beach like cleaning up the trash as a conservationist or patrolling the beach as a lifeguard! What I found cool about cleaning pollution in Sulani is you can actually see the environment improve and become prettier the more you clean as it gives a notification when you made an improvement in the world! There are 2 things that I feel were not as good as they should be in this pack though. I know mermaids are not the main focus on this pack, but they were not very in-depth compared to other Sims 4 occults that had a huge system for them. This is expected though when EA squeezes in features that should be big into a pack containing other big features. Also, what's up with the festivals not being announced or notifying the player? Normally with festivals from other packs like City Living and Cottage Living, it shows you a notification that it has started and it allows you to travel there. But that's absolutely not a thing for Sulani's festivals which is a shame because the festivals are very fun and there's also a turtle hatching competition! Luckily MizoreYukii & Scarlet's Island Event Notifications mod fixes this, but this should still be in the base game! Anyways, I recommend buying this pack. 8/10

Sulani is the most beautiful world in TS4. Inspired by the Polynesian culture. You can join the local culture and festivals. I created some rentals and use Sulani as a vacay spot. What can I say? I'm happy. I like the new careers. You can be a conservationist and it ads Fisherman, Lifeguard, and Diving as part-time jobs. You can also end up in Sulani as a stranded Sim and make a living with odd jobs (Things locals ask you to do for them) If you own Discover University you can improve your grades In biology and get a higher payment. There is some cross-compatibility available.

I really like this one. Map is bit small but it is nice and there are new interesting things one can do. Mermaids are cool too. They also have ability to change weather what is really interesting and they can sleep in water.

A very nice DLC which let's you live on an Island, meddle with the Islanders or even be a mermaid and have a dolphin which you can call with whatever name (mine being Uber Eats because I do tend to call on them often). I would say the only cons for that one is that I feel the map is small? But then so are most of them in the Sims 4.

I really like this pack. It is a nice pack, I love how you can be a mermaid and how beachy it is! I also love it so much, because I grew up in the beachy environment. And also it is not a scam, I got it in under 10 mins!

i think this game is very good and you can build stuff and i dont know how to becoome a mermaid but i will figer that out i like the fact that you can add your family looking forward to playing this game

One of the best DLC! Sulani is beautiful, with amazing landscapes. It makes playing in it very satisfying. Making sandcastles with the kids (and toddlers!), tanning on the beach, and protecting the environment is really cool. And so are the tiny events that come out from time to time, like the birth of the turtles. The mermaids aren't that amazing, so if that's is the only reason you want to buy the pack, you will probably be disappointed. On the same aspect, diving gets boring very easily as you just wait for your sim to come back to the surface. On the other hand, the CAS is gorgeous and the build mode even better. Amazing quality, I re-use them all the time, even in other worlds.

le pack est super, je suis juste un peu déçue de ne pas revoir les maisons bateaux mais les sirèmes sont assez bien traités^^ les décorations sont super et c'est tout un autre univers qu'on retrouve dans ce pack c'est très agréable

Ile magnifique, ajoute du gameplay, ajoute les sirènes, le volcan est pas mal, la possibilité de choisir son mode d'île est parfaite
