Holy ****, if this is a beautiful piece of art! It's one of those games that you need to play at least once in your life to experience. A very well crafted JRPG, the combat is very good as it really removes some of the pains of classic JRPGs: stat checking. Of course you won't be killing anything fast by being underleveled BUT you can avoid or parry the incoming damage, nullifying an inevitable outcome. The windows are pretty short but they vary for different difficulties as far as I know.

Really, the only two things I can nitpick about the game is how clunky minigames feel in here, you fail not for the mechanics themselves but for how the game handles them and the fog, it makes the game VERY blurry at times and it seems like no option works to reduce or toggle the effect.

Really, just play it!
