Very good game

10/10 Would recommend to any AC fans who haven't played this yet. It is a lot like AC Black Flag but it still as its twist and is absolutely still worth a play. Most players might have skipped this one because it came out the same year as Unity but trust me it is a banger.

very Good and the fact that the assassins are the enemys this time feels new but in the good kinda way. Shay is a very good main character in my opinion. in the beginning he is a creed fanatic like most however he evolves to formulate his own opinions and surprisingly enough despite betraying the creed he shows he is a level headed person who is just trying to protect the world. the sail system is very good to. one of the things that made black flag my favorite assassins game and it´s very well done here.

Map design and its structures give you an opportunity to make a fine and smooth parkour, one of the best in the franchise to be honest. Unfortunately even with the great parkour system it can't be called to be one of the good AC games. Most of the gameplay elements can be recognized from Black Flag immediately because they just basically recycled everything from that to this game. It proves how Ubisoft is lazy and wants to milk more money from the franchise with the least effort possible.

While the story is unique it is still easily predicted, a lot of characters are just there and have zero impact on the story. It's short and feels like an unfinished essay from a student who just made it last night.

Map is large and has many repetitive locations. Naval fights or sword fights are not enjoyable but rather tiring and if you smash the same buttons repeatedly you will most likely win. Stealth thankfully is fun (especially with that parkour system).

The game did not catch much attention not because of the story or its setting but because how the progress is stagnated, uncreative and copied.

  • Parkour
  • Unique story from the rest of the franchise
  • Almost everything is copied from Black Flag
  • Undetailed maps
  • NY has less details than AC 3 (2 years of potential progress lost)
  • Repetitive

Works perfectly. I got the CD key in 5 minutes, no extra payment was required, service was great and fast. Game is awesome didn't have any problems. I just downloaded the game and that was all. :) :) :)

  • Graphisme
  • Suite de Black Flag
  • Un peu court
Useful?
I'll keep it simple: it's Black Flag 2. Sure it's taking place in the icy waters of Halifax instead of the Carribean isles, but it blends the best elements of both AC4 and AC3. You have two large maps to explore, and the exploration in those maps is totally seemless between land and sea (contrary to AC4 which still had annoying loading screens when entering a city). The story of Rogue, which takes place between AC4 and AC3, is one of the most interesting of the franchise, shedding a different light on the conflict opposing the "bad" guys and the "good" guys, which will see Shay Cormac choose what he thinks is the lesser of two evils. Ultimately, Rogue is without a doubt the last good Assassin's Creed game created to date, one of the last great games published on PS3, and a much overlooked good adventure in its own right.
  • Great, eerie atmosphere
  • Better than AC4+AC3
  • Some audio bugs
Useful?
A great game much better than assassins creed unity no bugs etc would recommend to anyone but it can be a long tim efor the game to get exciting and it sufferers because it comes on the back of the great ac4
  • great game
  • slow at times
Useful?
Good game with very good sound and a big map. However, the story is quite short and therefore could be longer. Would buy again.
  • Good graphic
  • Good sound
  • Short main story
