I discovered this game series relatively recently. I've always liked turn-based games, and lately I was pretty burned out on Dragon Quest.

Good combat, it forced me to think at times. I played it on hard mode.

Good story, I empathized with several characters.
  • Long duration ≈100hrs
  • Decent difficulty
  • Replayable
  • Having to play a lot for each achievement if you lose it in the first game
  • Mergers are difficult to understand from a technical standpoint

I am so far 30 hours into this masterpiece and i cant stop playing. Everything has so much detail and is so beautiful. Absolutely recommend, 10/10
  • The story and the characters are amazing and so well done
  • The art style is really well done, the music is SOOOOO good and everything is full of details, even the menus.
  • The gameplay never feels boring and the turn-based combat is smooth and enjoyable, plus the gameplay content is INFINITE

I changed as a person after this beautiful masterpiece. Started it casually and ended with tears and post game depression. Makoto best girl btw (even had dreams where we hade a date together(yes im cooked, im aware))

Persona 5 Royal allows players to experience the story they already love in a new way without losing any of the beauty from the original game. New and old characters get their chance to shine through and steal your heart, even the ones you never expected to. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and maybe you’ll even feel a sense of justice for the infamous Phantom Thieves in the end. But one thing you won’t feel is regret in picking up Persona 5 Royal, as it’s truly the best Persona title, if not one of the best video games, I’ve ever experienced to date.

Extremely fun game and interesting story.

I'm a huge fan of choice driven games, and with persona I feel like my choices really have an impact of the story, unlike many games that claim to be "choice matters".

After spending hours into the gameplay, I feel emotionally attached to the characters, it's tough to let them go once the game ends..

Anyways, this is definitely my favorite game of all the time, if you enjoy this kind of games with lots of story, multiple choices and life simulation, p5r is the best of its genre without doubts.

Keep in mind that this game takes around 100h+ to complete, so you need lots of time to play it, but no regrets. lol
