Exoprimal Deluxe Edition - XBOX One & XBOX Series X|S

The Story:

Its a good story... 6/10 easily. it would be higher if it wasn't weaved in to the multiplayer aspect.

The story hides maps and more interesting dino's that you wont get to see at a glance of the game (Recommended videos)

Sometimes it feels that the story is interfering with my run more than it is part of the game and other times its kinda nice to just have a chill run knowing its a story one and you dont need to rush.

Mechanics:

It's different in some aspects being able to spawn power full (ish) dinos and fight with that while your team rushes to finish the objective.

Objectives are common ones, capture and hold, kill, grab stuff, follow slow things. You know the drill.

The fighting can be rough at times big dino's like pushing you around and maps are designed with very little between you and the pit of instant death to fall in. Not paying attention? well the patchy is and now your falling to your death.

PVE:

there is none... every once in a blue moon you do a 100% pure PVE run but the other 98% of the time this game is PVP

Character design:

Its lacking lets be honest more is needed in this area, the playable Exosuits (mechs) are fun you got a bit of a variate but don't go in after just playing overwatch and hoping for much you know?

They are all fun in there own right tho.

Over all id give the game a solid 7/10 regardless of its issues... this is NOT a PVE game but i have 0 regrets in buying it.

Note:

I see some reviews complaining about micro transactions... You okay? just making sure :3

Yes you can buy things.... yes its a full triple A cost game nothing new here...

Loot boxes... aka War Chest are ONLY obtainable threw play... you CANT buy them (100% game related and given)

Don't try and use the "OH BUT THEY GOT LOOT BOXES" crap here (as of time of writing) you cant spend a cent on a loot box it gives you free in game stuff and money to buy stuff you ain't getting (par a small hand full)

Faster unlocking of character packs: I mean if you really know you want it why not? but past that play the game for what 3-4 hours and you will have what ever it is you wanted unlocked anyway... i started in the 3 free day weekend and got all the Level based character unlocked before i finished levelling my second character to 20. You lose nothing not paying (yes it cost coins no its not a issue war chest give so much dam coins I'm swimming in it in less than a week)

Cosmetic:

Yes there is a small hand full of skins you cant get in game and must get the battle pass or buy from the shop they make up a VERY small set of skins (at the time of writing) but they are a LOT cheaper than any other game i have played. 30 dollars for OW skins? 20 for league? and I'm not picking the highest ones...

"BUT ITS A $6O DOLLAR GAME!"

yea and so was overwatch when I bought it... whats your point? don't buy the skins? they don't make the man and all that :3

Battle pass:

iv never paid a cent for any games battle pass and this trend continue thus I will not comment on it in this game or others.

I will add i have never finished a games battle pass buy just casually playing in the allotted time they give you but I did finish this battle pass (the levels at least) in under a week of playing casually.

An empty and repetitive Capcom game. Buy it if you have 10 bucks (and not a cent more) and if it's still alive. It could have been great but they decided to publish a barebone version.

Maybe in a few months, there will be a correct amount of content but until then, don't bother.
