DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT is nor a walking simulator . It can be if you want to, but its way more than that . I understand the original version of this game had a lot of tedious and long missions but DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT fixes most of them and the game is JOY to play . YES it's a delivery/courier game, YES it's a FedEx simulator, but its not a boring walking simulator. There is so many ways to complete any delivery its mind boggling . The process of planning your deliveries is addicting and rewarding . That feeling when you finally reached your delivery point, bruised and battered because you had to overcome , terrain , weather , stamina , enemies and so much more, is a feeling no other game can replicate. The music is lovely , characters are great gameplay is fun and relaxing (but sometimes creepy) & the story.... THE STORY IS WILD ! The ending had so many twists and turns I didn't expect - my jaw was permanently dropped. Can't wait for DS2 to come out on PC. 9/10

A nice walking simulator with some fighting and vehicles later on.

It does need patience and a love for repetition to be enjoyed though.

Death Stranding was honestly one of the most unusual games I’ve ever played, and that’s exactly what made it so special. You spend most of your time delivering packages across a lonely, gorgeous, post-apocalyptic America, and somehow it becomes really addictive. The mix of stunning landscapes, atmospheric music, and the slow but satisfying feeling of connecting the world again just pulled me in. It’s definitely not a game for everyone — it can feel slow and weird — but if you give it a chance, it’s an unforgettable experience.

It's not just a delivery simulator, it's a journey to understand yourself and the story in your surronding.

For ~10€ it's just a gift to do to yourself.
