A massive deep-space mining ship goes dark after unearthing a strange artifact on a distant planet. Engineer Isaac Clarke embarks on the repair mission, only to uncover a nightmarish blood bath — the ship's crew horribly slaughtered and infected by alien scourge. Now Isaac is cut off, trapped, and engaged in a desperate fight for survival.

Game Features:

  • Messy monster slaying
    The Necromorphs are unlike any enemies you've seen before. Headshots do about as much damage to them as flicking rubber bands. To survive, you'll need to dismember their insect-like limbs, one at a time.

  • Improvised weapons
    There aren't many traditional firearms aboard the Ishimura, but there's plenty of stopping power in Isaac's toolkit. Send horizontal or vertical blasts of energy at enemies with the Plasma Cutter, remotely control a high-speed sawblade with the Disc Ripper, and fill hallways with wide swaths of destruction with the Line Gun. Switch things up with alternate fire modes, and purchase upgrades to increase ammo, power, and reload speed.

  • Real-time attacks.
    Whatever you do, don’t drop your guard. Everything takes place in real-time. That means any action you take, whether it be reloading or digging through your inventory, gives the Necromorphs a perfect opportunity to attack. This nightmare has just begun and it’s up to get to the bottom of what happened here.

Classic. Very enjoyable gameplay. I always used to be a big fan of this franchise- Then decided to re-play it! Well, I sure did like it a lot and can only recommend it, especially to sci-fi and horror lovers!

I've bought this game twice, I bought it when it first came out and on Instant Gaming
This gaming is great, the leveling up is fun
There is allot of jump scares
It's like Event Horizon made into a game

Its a pretty good game and a very good price, its hard to play with controller but you'll get the hang of it on keyboard and mouse ;)

I played it 9 times, and it's easly not only the best sci-fi horror game I have ever played, but the best sci-fi horror work of art I have ever witnessed. Its unmatched sound design, coupled with its sheer playability, makes dead space a feared opponent in any realm of videogame endeavor.

Great visuals for it's time and a well planned story. For the price definitely a good purchase. My only downplay is some elements like slowing doors and back tracking can make it a little repetitive.
