I believe Pokémon Shield is a fantastic game and serves as an awesome entry point for anyone curious about the series. It captures the core magic of Pokémon in a modern and accessible package.

The adventure through the Galar region is a delight, starting with a strong choice of starter Pokémon and a whole new Pokedex of creatures to discover and catch. The game truly lives up to the timeless challenge of "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" A standout feature is the game's incredible soundtrack; the battle themes are so energetic and infectious that you can't help but nod along to the beat.

The multiplayer experience is especially engaging, thanks to the introduction of Max Raid Battles. Teaming up with friends to take down a powerful Dynamax Pokémon to earn special rewards is a cooperative thrill that adds countless hours of fun.

The only minor downside is that the game can occasionally suffer from frame drops, particularly in the expansive Wild Area. However, these technical hiccups are infrequent and do little to detract from what is otherwise a wonderfully fun and charming Pokémon adventure.

I chose Shiled mostly because I like Zamazenta more than Zacian but that should not be your main reason for buying either of the games. In fact, many regional pokémon and Max Raid battles should be the reason to buy them. This Pokémon game might not let you ride your Pokémon into battle all across the map nor will it show you a shiny pokémon when it spawns instead it will have you take a more challenging but much more fun path to completing it in its entirety.

After compliting the main story I can say that it starts off qute slow, still interasting if you follow the conversations. I nejoyed the second part the most. Overall a good pokemon story. I've been enjoying cathcing more pokemon in post story gameplay. The only thing is, I think wild areas whould be more spread out and better placed. The wather conditions changes are annoying.

This game was awesome although the animation isn't really ,,Nintendo-like". It sometimes feel like they didn't even care about visuals like blurry graphics and robotic, lifeless NPCs and Pokémon. It is also not very enjoyable that some Pokémon can be obtained with only trading. Gigantamax and shiny Pokémons are also a bit overly rare. But to say something good the story was great and challangenging and the game is well balanced. Every leader can be beat no matter what party Pokémon the player is using. It only needs tactics and knowledge. I beat the game using kantonian Persian most of the time just fine.

This game is fab! I love the amount of variety for character customisation, the pokemon are super cute, and the story was lovely.
I'm a fairly casual fan of pokemon, but this was right up my alley. You can meet other players online and nearby, and even fight in raid battles with them.

i love this game so much to do the story the gym battles the random pokemon just doing their own thing the outfits that you can wear into battle are cool the massive raid battles you can do is great well worth getting this game

I had great fun playing this game. However, it doesn't feel like there was a good enough improvement on the game for the Switch. Feels like a 3DS game on a Switch. Also, as someone else stated, I do miss my favourite pokemons.
I had fun and would buy again, but I was expecting more.

There is not a villain and victory road, the pokemon are really good but the online feature does lack of fps and stability

Wonderful game. Its my first Pokémon game and i like it. It s funky, dynamax and gigamax pokémons are a grenat Idea and it will be a fantastic ans grenat endgame. I Hope Gamefeeak will add somefree content
