Game crashes , VRAM issue , i have RX6600 , it should be more than enough for this game , i am utterly dissapointed, first time i bought new game and it doesnt work , dont buy this ..... everything else on my pc runs perfect , i feel so ripped off , 0/10.

Played for 5ish hours and I think I'm going to wait until another patch fixes the game.
  • Better than the first one
  • The first one didn't stutter as much

I'm playing Star Wars Jedi Survivor occasionally since it's available in Xbox Game Pass.I was consider buying it recently for Steam since there is a pretty nice discount currently and I've heared Respawn released a patch few days ago. Well... I won't buy it, not yet anyway yet. I'm playing on a high-end PC (7800x3d/4080 Super) and this game is still really buggy. Drastic framedrops, AA artifacts, animation issues, and the list goes on. It's amazing how AA games nowadays have superior quality comparing to AAA titles with big budget like this one.
  • Fun gameplay mechanics
  • Good and authentic Star Wars lore
  • AA artifacts
  • Performance Issues (e.g. framedrops)
  • protagonist's character lacks depth

Tried it out on Ubisoft+. Refunded Ubisoft + after 4 hours of testing the game.

Its a fucking mess. One of the worst tripple AAA games I've ever played. What an abomination.
  • Visuals look nice in the beginning
  • The introduction is somewhat okay-ish
  • The soundtrack seems to be well composed
  • everything else, not even joking

Fantastic game. Improves on Jedi Fallen Order in almost every way. It can feel a bit less focused but critpathing it is an absolute blast. The combat is brilliant. Imagine if FromSoft games were actually fun and combat looked cool. That's what this game does. It's hard-ish but not unfair, no bs trial-and-error mechanics, Nioh in the Star Wars universe, what else can we ask for.

It is unacceptable that even if I have much better specs than required, and running all settings to lowest quality, I get 12 FPS with FPS drops in fights. Never played a game with such a terrible performance. I played few minutes and had to stop because it is unplayable. Money wasted.
  • Terrible performance, unplayable.

Garbage game dont buy this half product it runs like garbage on 3700x msi 6700xt 12gb

and 16gb ram.

Crasing problems

performance problems

ram and vram memory problems and many more cant change resolution bug etc etc etc its mindblowing how garbage this game pc port is after 1 year since it got out on market.
  • not playable

overall good because im 40 hours in but lots or flaws :

it makes a pleasnt game to be in and i enjoy that it runs smooth on my 1080ti buuut it keeps a lot of flaws of the first born and i would wait a lot more from EA, very decent game when paired to a 60% discount tho
  • candy for my eyes
  • being a jedi
  • discounted
  • cal is a truck
  • storyline sometimz sucks
  • puzzles and platforming isnt clean enough

I loved the first one so I was so excited to play the second one and it didn't disappoint the only issue is that you have to have a high-end PC to run it effectively EA did super well on this both keep going EA I'm starting to like you more and more I also loved both battlefronts but i would only buy this game on sale like on instant gaming
  • not to many bugs
  • Large maps
  • great deal
  • you need a high end PC

I had fun, this series is doing justice to the star wars branded games both on PC and console, HOWEVER it is quite irritating that on launch most titles, this one included, are buggy as hell and this could take you out of the established immersion.
  • great story
  • great gameplay

I have a 3070 and a Rycen 5 5600x so a pretty good Setup, but still:

PERFOMANCE ISSUES!!!!

- Extremly low fps

- max. 60 fps

- most of the time only 30 or lower

- At mid to low graphics

-Even when the Game just starts the image stutters extremly

- The cutscenes also have very low fps

Poor level design (Not horrible, but bothering):

- Makes jumps (while climbing) unnecessary hard due to the character doing whatever he wants

- Can't see enemies because the room is too small/poor camera movement

- Again pretty long way to walk/climb/etc.

AND PROS:

- Very good Storyline

- Interesting and exciting characters

- Beautiful world design and big

- New way of movements

- Many many fighting "styles"

- Nice animations/cutscenes

So its an amazing Game with a very good storyline and cool fighting/characters BUT not enjoyable due to HORENDOUS performance
  • Storyline
  • Characters
  • Various types of fighting
  • Horrible Perfomance
  • (slightly) Poor Game design
  • And again Horrible Perfomance

Game on startup be like:

Loading for 5 minutes for no reason (UNOPTIMIZING SHADERS)

RTX 3080 @ 1440p 60 FPS - Fan speed at 98%, gpu temperature 88 °C.

Unopzimized EA poo-poo, just as usual from EA & their partners
  • Lightsabers
  • Map is too huge and possibly loaded in whole memory
  • Water quality is patheticly ugly
  • Unoptimized

Let's just start off with that i got the game with my 7900xtx when i bought that and that this review is more about the performance (or lack thereof) then the gameplay!

Gameplay is amazing! Love it!

Performance is just down under the ground!

Low or high settings barely make a difference in performance.

Im running it at a 4k 120hz monitor and without upscaling i get an shameable 80 fps!

Few patches here and there improved frame times but it still doesnt run as a game should run on this high end hardware..

Pc specs below

R 7700X

Rx 7900 xtx

32 gb 5600mhz ram

Samsung 980 pro

1000w psu
  • Great gameplay
  • Nice worlds
  • Performance
  • Very hard to run while not necessary

Great Game, bit of a struggle for most PC's i guess but its a really good game, huge Open-Worlds, smooth Gameplay, Perfect Story and more. I would recomend it for high end PC's but it runs pretty good on mine too. (3060ti and Ryzen 7 3800X)

very good game, had bad performance. worth worth it though. it had such a good tory and some REALY REALY good compbt. all the different stances. single, dubble, dubble wielded and single with a blaster. i it is a bit of a grind if you want to get 100%
  • good story
  • good combat
  • bad performance
Useful?
Its a nice game even tho the perfomance on pc was really bad at the launch but the story is great and i like the new combat stances. I think that some people just overreacted at the launch because of the perfomanc issues which got mostly fixed after a few days.
  • More Combat possibilitys
  • Nice story
  • good bossfights
Useful?
The gameplay is fun but the framerate and stutters make the game sufferable to play, even on a RTX 3070.

The customization for Cal and his equipment (Lightsaber, Blaster) are really well made and it is really fun to have your own custom made lightsaber
  • Combat
  • Customization

More of the same, didn't fix the issues of the first game but added more things on top of them.

Namely fighting gameplay, also pretty restrictive on the skill points department and while they're several combat style, They're not different enough from each other and have no specific purpose. It's mostly visual difference aka aesthetics, in others words, the changes are very superficial.
  • Performance issues may be fixed in the future
  • Worst 2023 PC port so far
  • Buggy and unfinished release
  • Gameplay expanded upon but didn't improve
Useful?
waited to see if the updates would fix it yet i still cant even get into the game just want my money back. my system has specs higher than recommended but the most the game does is get to the end of the intro then it crashes.

In other words, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game that’s an absolute joy to play. Exploring these worlds, slicing through enemies, customizing how Cal looks, uncovering the game’s lore: it’s all done perfectly here, in a way that should appeal to anyone, regardless of their familiarity with Star Wars itself (though being a fan probably helps). There are minor flaws, to be sure, but they’re so minor, they feel like nitpicking. In a year that’s already featured some outstanding games, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor still manages to stand out.
