Venture into the new world of Starlight Shores and play out a rags-to-riches story with your Sims as they become superstar singers, acrobats, and magicians, or even moonlight as a DJ. Watch your Sims rise to fame—or go down in flames as they perform on stage in front of cheering crowds in all new venues. On the way to the top, players will have more tools to tell their Sims’ stories the way they want to including the ability to customize stages, create Sims with all-new clothing options, traits, skills and lifetime wishes and interact with objects like the new pool table, karaoke machine and mechanical bull.

New connected features allow you to share your big moments and connect with friends and fans of The Sims like never before. Using the all-new optional SimPort feature, send your Sim on tour to perform in your friend’s world. Along the way, earn achievements for accomplishing special challenges that will be rewarded with new badges and that can be viewed and shared on the new in-game player profile and wall.

I started playing sims 4 but sims 3 is so so much better. The game content and interactions are so much better than sims 4.

I've made countless purchases with instant gaming and have never had any problems. Amazing app that offers deals at best prices. Quick codes and customer service. The Showtime EP is nice but in itself could be a bit more emersive.

Showtime brings you a new town, which is completely dedicated to "show business". There are lots of venues for your singer, acrobat or magician to perform at and earn money. I found the town "buggy" and have had to use NRAAS Mastercontroller quite regularly to help keep the freezing under control. I believe there is some careless design which leads to routing errors. I've managed to live with them quite well. The major problem is that this is an old EP for an old game, and part of the new features is to send your performing Sims by Simport to perform for other players. Most players now have gone well past this and finding someone to send your sims to is difficult. Not to mention Simport is notoriously buggy. I didn't buy it for this feature and so I'm not too disappointed not to get the full performance out of the EP. I don't regret buying it, but without Mods I think it might have been almost unplayable for me.
