  • Plan Hotter Dates — Check the Cupid’s Corner app for matches that make your Sim’s heart flutter. Then, set up a date with the new date-planning system. You’ll choose where to go and what to do, crafting romantic rendezvous that’ll leave Sims swooning. Sims can connect by playing games, cuddling in bed, or taking the Romantic Blanket to a beautiful spot for a special moment.

  • All About Attraction — What works for your Sim? Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs will determine how attracted Sims are to each other. They can include interests, interactions, and more! Discover these as your Sims get to know their partners, build relationships, and maintain Romantic Satisfaction. Since Sims will like and dislike different interactions, partners might have different satisfaction levels. How Sims interact with each other will also affect whether their Relationship Dynamic is wholesome, steamy, strained, or unpredictable.

Another Game Pack's worth of content from EA and The Sims 4 franchise. Not surprised. It adds a few new interactions and a date types (and who would have guessed? DIDN'T WORK ON LAUNCH!)

It makes your Sims love life feel slightly more in depth, but if you're a PC player, you're better off getting mods that enhance the romance/attraction system for free. The attraction system works the same way the compatibility system from Growing Together works... which is not at all. Your Sims can be completely unattracted with each other and they'll still autonomously flirt and perform romance socials with next to no rejection. It's all cosmetic text to make you think there's actual challenges in your Sims' relationships. If you want drama, you still gotta create it yourself.

There are no one-sided relationships, the relationship bar is still equal on both sides, so Sim A can't like Sim B more than Sim B likes Sim A. This pack also adds custom relationship labels that only go both ways. So that means if you wanted to make "Mother-in law" and "Son in-law" relationships, you can't. Because it will say the same one label for both Sims.

Basically, EA slightly tweaked the romance system and locked it behind a $40 paywall, instead of making it a base game update. So I recommend buying it for much less than the official site through IG if you absolutely want it.

Nice features, however, the amount of gameplay is not enough to be called an "Expansion Pack" .

Ruins the relationship mechanics and makes it so damn convoluted. Happy couples will be on the verge of break ups due to a confusing satisfaction system, the CAS is super niche, and it breaks so much of my core favorite things in the Sims 4. The world and build/buy are good, which makes things so much more frustrating to me. Don't ever buy this, you can never uninstall Sims 4 mods. I'd rather have used the money on a Burger King meal, at least that would've satisfied me. I would've had more fun burning $21.35. At least that would've warmed me and I could see how money melts. I would rather buy My First Pet Stuff twice. At least that has non-intrusive gameplay mechanics that warp everything and make things a mess. This is a 10 year old game. Let it die, EA.

I love the Lovestruck pack! It brings a lot of romance elements that were lacking in the game.

I also am quite fond of the CAS and BB items.

I haven't explored the world but I don't buy packs for the worlds anyway, so I cannot comment on that.

I have mixed feelings about this pack. I feel like everything in here has already existed with mods. If you have a pc/mac i'd recommend just downloading mods.

I think this pack shouldve been a gamepack. But packs here can be 50% off so I think it's worth it then.
